Lionel Curtis[1872-1955] was one of the founders of The Round Table a group which advocated British Empire Federalism and reunification of USA and the British Commonwealth. Much of Curtis' philosophy was based on his experiences in South Africa as British High Commissioner, Lord Alfred Milner's Secretary during the Boer War. These three books articulate both his philosophy - the evolution of the commonwealth idea and to show that history leads to its fulfilment in the Kingdom of God on earth, which was a world state of federalised nations and also a commentary on world history including current events to 1936.
