009041 The Amalgamated Press London First Edition 10 x 15" Cloth Good [viii], xii, 572pp plus 99-page index - Undated but The British Library and the libraries of several UK universities say 1919-1920, originally issued in 40 monthly parts though this is the bound version. Covers (green cloth with blind-stamped title ["Harmsworth's New Atlas of the World"] to front board) are a mess. Backstrip (outer part of the spine on which the title and author would be printed) is missing. Textblock is mostly clean and tight except for pencilled markings, scribbles, writing to front EPs, light foxing throughout and water-stains to borders of some pages not affecting text or maps. Last two leaves of index are severely edgeworn and creased. Half-title page is detached but present.
