008540 Notre Dame, Indiana 1901 Ave Maria was a weekly magazine. Six months' issues - beginning with January 5, 1901 and ending June 29th, 1901 - have been bound in maroon boards with black tapes. The boards are chipped and soiled and the spine strip partially detached. The spine also has a gash in the middle.The front hinge is cracked at the early editions have damp stains on the top of the page. This is another curate's egg, very good in parts, good only in others and poor at pages 94 - 95 which are stained .
