007513 Michael Joseph London 1968 Hard Cover Someone has enthustiastically and very neatly sprayed the boards and fore-edge with gold paint. The front board also has three raised gold rivulets on the top left hand corner. There is a naval library stamp on both end papers. Internally the book is in excellent condition, and the gilding very pretty. I'm sure that Waugh himself would appreciate the irony of one of his novels being transformed into a "Heritage" book. $11.00AUD
