My Man Jeeves Wodehouse, P.G.:
31264 London: George Newnes but C 1927 - from inscription. Good/reading copy. very collectable but in sad condition. light red/pink boards are browned to edges, front and back, with tarnish areas. appears more light brown than pink. all corners rounded with wear. the spine covering is almost detached to one side, save for one retaining lip at top. deeply sunned to light brown. there is a torn flap curling upwards to half the width - through the black titling section - but has actually missed the letering - thus repairable. ffeps are extensively foxed and have a 1927 inscription. the foxing lessens by title page, but is present, though to a lesser degree in the text. ugly foxing to all edges of textblock. 251 pages with 2 advertisements - undated - could be earlier than 1927. an ugly duckling but collectable - the first book to feature the great Jeeves, in four of the eight stories within £19.00GBP Click here to order or message the dealer
