000197 Ward, Lock & Co New York and Melbourne 1903 Original Cloth Good Scarce title. Later publication - 1903. Red boards with gold titles to front. Gold titles and illustration to spine. Boards showing minor wear to extremities and slight bubbling (due to separation) at bottom rear. Inside - couple of pages have spots where possibly food was dropped all those years ago, Ex library book with stamp to inside front boards and minor title page. Ffep and 1st blank page have been removed. At rear, page needs to be re- stuck to the board. Foxing to this page and rfep. First two pages of text are loose but present. 3 black/white illustrations by Stanley L Wood. Scarce title. I have tried to list all faults and have perhaps made the book seem worse than it is.
