If you are a collector or a startup book dealer, Flexidex Lite is the ideal database program for stock data entry and storage. Flexidex Lite is a cut down version of the Flexidex database software used by Antiquarian book dealers throughout Australia for more than ten years.

When you download the Flexidex Lite program and manual you will have to unzip or uncompress the files.
Unzip the compressed file and store the files in a temporary folder.
Then you can run the setup file which will install the Flexidex Lite program, into the correct directory on your C: drive and put an icon on the desktop.

Note: that these programs will not run on Mac's, but will run on all windows computers.

If you download the collectibles database it is normal for you to associate up to 3 images with each entry. There are 3 fields in the database to accommodate the URL or address of these image files. The format of the image file is such that no image should be larger than 400 pixils wide or high for best display on the site.
These fields should include the complete address of where you store the images online. For example, you might ftp the images to your free space at your home page address, something like http://users.bigpond.net.au/myspace/pix/mypix.jpg
To test that they can be seen just type the address into the address window of your browser to see your image, and thats what everyone else will see.
